Essential in controlling obesity
First of all, exercise is essential in controlling obesity. So that means you get two factors for the price of one! Researchers have found that women who were involved in athletics during their teens and twenties seem to have a lower incidence of breast cancer.
People with desk jobs and in-active lifestyles are at higher risk of colorectal cancer. Exercise will help you cut their risks of cancers. If you haven't started yet to exercise, make today the day! Reemeber, you can do anything through the power of Jesus Christ, who lives within you.

Father's Day Priceless Gift Ideas
The idea of celebrating Father's Day is to make fathers feel special, loved and cared for. Sure you can gift him a wonderful present - a tie, a shirt or fancy gadgets and he is going to appreciate the gesture. But today things have become so much commercialized that gifts sometimes sound and look a mere formality. Now this is not the reason we celebrate Father's Day - just to present a gift and say a formal Happy Father's Day.
If you really love Daddy why not express it in the right way. This Father's Day make it a point to spend quality time with daddy and make him feel that it is his special day. Here are some interesting gift ideas rather Priceless Gift Ideas as these costs nothing in monetary terms but are valuable when you think in terms of their sentimental worth for both you and daddy. These will help you to come closer to your daddy and strengthen the affectionate bond between both of you.
Spend a Day with Daddy
You must be having a busy work schedule managing whole lot of studies or pending office jobs or having occupied yourself in other social engagements but remind yourself that this is Father's Day. It means that you are supposed to spend quality time with dad. Share thoughts with daddy listen to his words of wisdom and note them in your diary. They will always come in handy.
Prepare a Special Father's Day Meal
There is no better way especially for daughters to please dad than to cook him a sumptuous Father's Day meal. A better idea would be to make an extra effort and cook daddy's favorite dishes. This way you can grant mommy some time away from kitchen so that she can give a relaxed company to daddy.
Write a Letter
If you are staying away from daddy and for some reason cannot meet him in person write a letter to him. Sending cards is fine but they lack personal touch which comes in a letter. Also have an extended chat on phone and share happy memories. You can call up twice or may be more to compensate for your physical absence and to make Daddy not feel alone

Windows phone 7 series
For that reason, Microsoft introduced Windows Phone 7, the last version of its operating system for smartphones. It is supposed to transform a cell phone in a sort of electronic manager that anticipates the users’ needs. For example, this new OS include tools to consult the contacts network and users’ data automatically in order to find scheduled meetings, photos, and messages from friends; then, this information can be presented in an attractive way with a visual aspect similar to the interface of the Zune music player, instead of the traditional interfaces based on personal computers.
The development of this new OS required the humble recognition on the part of Microsoft (the biggest sotware maker of the world) that the clumsy architecture of Windows Mobile was a failure in the market. This way, the company needed to start from scratch in order to hopefully be able to compete with Apple and the iPhone.
According to Terry Myerson, the VP in charge of Windows Phone engineering, “to be entirely candid, the iPhone opened our eyes as to some things that needed to be done that were not in our plan… Some execution had really gone astray”. It is not clear yet whether the new Microsoft software is really a challenge for Apple, or simply it will end up being just a niche product with a poor result in the industry, just like happened with the Zune and its weak impact compared with the Apple iPod.

3D without special glasses :)
The bad news is that those gadgets only will work with 3.4-inch displays, which should be placed at a distance of 30 centimeters (12 inches) from the user’s eyes.
Yesterday (April 2), Sharp Corp. introduced some displays for mobile devices (which are able to show three-dimensional animations), as well as touch-sensitive panels where you can browse a gallery of 3D pictures, and a small screen connected to a 3D video camera.
In recent months, some 3D movies in domestic formats and TVs with 3D technology have been introduced in the market, too. In fact, at this time, companies like Sony Corp., Panasonic Corp., Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics are selling or plan to launch 3D TVs around the world. But, the great thing about the Sharp technology is that the upcoming gadgets won’t require glasses anymore. Cool!

Compactflash :)
Shigeto Kanda, Canon representative and CFA chairman of the board (by the way, the CompactFlash Association website is a really really basic and old-fashioned site), pointed out that “the higher capacity and higher performance of CF cards enabled by the 48-bit addressing feature in the CF5.0 specification will further increase the value of DSLR cameras. The Video Performance Guarantee feature of the CF5.0 specification will help CF cards to expand into new markets such as high-speed movie equipment like professional video camcorders.”
As was pointed out in the official announcement, the new benefits of the 5.0 specification are mainly supported by the new range of 48-bit addresses, which allows to overcome the previous limitation that established a maximal storage capacity of 137 Gbytes for a CompactFlash card. Again, it will be very complicated the production of 144-petabyte cards in the short term, but of course, the new feature adds a margin of evolution to the industry.
Besides the theoretical increase of the capacity, additional improvements for the ATA standard have been added, as well as a better execution control and the so-called “Video Performance Guarantee Profiles” (recording guarantees for storing video), which is a field where CompactFlash cards had lost ground (at least temporally) with other formats such as SDHC that is currently more popular among the DSLR (Digital-SLR) and digital video camera makers.
Compact flash is very useful for others that are very outgoing. :)

Phone with psp games? :)
There is an interesting nonofficial announcement coming from Japan: Several journalist have made public that Sony is planning to develop a smartphone where users will be able to play PSP games. In addition, apparently, Sony would be creating a device with a wide range of features, so it would not be easy to define it as a netbook, or an e-reader, or a handheld console (like PSP); actually, it would be a combination of all of them.
These projects are the reaction of Sony to Apple strategies, particularly regarding the iPad and iPhone. So, this is an interesting competition that, hopefully, will benefit the end users. But, at the same time, it could be interpreted as an obvious and meaningful evolution of the PSP, a console that has had strong competitors since it was launched commercially.
As you can imagine, the new smartphone that would be able to play PSP games won’t include slots to insert game cartridges. Instead, they could be connected to the online shop “PlayStation Store” (which is currently accessible by using a PlayStation 3 or PSP console) to download games developed for PSP. Sony Ericsson is working on this smartphone and, most likely, it will impact the mobile market in a strong way. However, it is not clear yet whether the whole PSP catalog will be supported, or only a reduced number of games. Apparently, the original games developed by Sony will be totally supported, but maybe third-party games could have some limitations, at least initially.
For the moment, the only thing we can do is to wait for official announcements and watch for the way how these projects move forward, since Sony is constantly surprising us with innovations and unexpected products. After the launch of the PSPGo, which has had very little success, the company needs a new product with a “wow” factor: That would be an opportunity to recover fans and increase earnings.

USB external hard drive: USB 3.0 SSD Aviator -2
Approximately one year ago, the first SSD drives were introduced: They constitute a new storage system that leaves some magnetic and mechanical parts behind in order to adopt an innovative, faster, silent and efficient way of storing information; however, this technology is still an expensive option with (relatively) low storage capacities and, for that reason, it has not been adopted massively in the market yet. Anyway, this is a great technology with many advantages. For example, the installation of the external SSD drives is a really easy process and they can be connected to any PC or laptop in seconds.
A new enhanced product in this category is Aviator-2. It is an external SSD drive with a faster transfer speed and an improved performance, thanks to its USB 3.0 port. In fact, a new major feature of the USB 3.0 specification is the SuperSpeed bus that can provide a transfer mode at 4.8 Gbit/s.
The maker Active Media Products has introduced the first product of this new generation: An external SSD drive that, initially, will be available in 64GB and 128GB versions. Besides, this drive is supposed to support transfer rates of up to 4Gbits/sec (10 times faster than the USB 2.0 specification).
Also, this external SSD drive comes in sizes that are smaller than usual sizes. Specifically, the dimensions are 5.3 x 3.3 x 0.6 inches (135 x 84 x 15 mm); actually, it could be carried in a pocket of a regular jacket. The price of the Aviator-2 is about US$ 260 (190 EUR) for the 64GB version and US$ 453 (333 EUR) for the other version with a storage capacity of up to 128GB.

Apple launches a 27 inch LED monitor.
Rumors come and go all the time about Apple and its products. This time, some news are appearing regarding a possibility: Apparently, the Cupertino company would be preparing the launch of new 27-inch LED Cinema Displays and, besides that, an update in its Mac Pro line.
As for the displays, there won’t be changes (technologically speaking) because, according to some reports, the new displays will be similar to the 24-inch ones that currently exist in the market, which were introduced in October 2008.
With this, the company would pretend to introduce another additional screen with similar size to the 27-inch iMacs that have had a successful reception. This thinking is really logic, so the introduction of a device with these characteristics to generate some additional money for Jobs and his company is not an unrealistic plan, but rather a reasonable move.
But why now and not before? Well, a possible reason is that Apple would have been waiting for a fall in the high price of LCD panels that support a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, but apparently, the new products are being developed since a long time ago.
On the other hand, regarding the Mac Pro computers, the updates are related to the use of Intel Xeon Processors: The Xeon 5600 Series (12 cores) will be used in new Mac Pro models, while another version will be using a single processor model, with only six cores and a lower price.
This is really a must have :)

Mini vaio :)
That is a new medium-end netbook whose price has not been revealed yet; however, we think that, as usual with the Vaio lines, the price will be higher than the average prices of other netbooks. The launch was confirmed by some British representatives of the company Sony. The Sony Vaio M will be introduced as a computer with a 10.1-inch screen and a battery that will be able to provide energy during about 8 hours before needing a recharge.
Screen will be LED-illuminated (of course!) and, although at this time we don’t know what resolutions it will support, judging by the size of the monitor, it is very possible that the default resolution will be 1024 x 600 pixels. Once again, a Pine Trail chip will be the heart of the processor for this new netbook. Specifically, we are talking about the Intel Atom N450 at 1.66GHz.
As you can imagine, the operating system of the Sony Vaio M will be Windows 7. The storage capacity is defined by the 2.5-inch hard drive that will be installed by default inside the Sony Vaio M; that is to say: 250GB. In addition, those netbooks will have a single RAM module (pre-installed) with a capacity of 1GB (at least it will be the standard feature for the basic version).
Regarding connectors, there is no surprises; just the regular things of a normal computer. This new Sony Vaio M will come with Bluetooth support (a “must-have” feature nowadays), three USB 2.0 ports, and network card compatible with Wi-Fi systems.
This is a very compact edition of sony vaio because you can use the benefits of a big one with a very comfortable size. less hasle. :)

750 hard drive :)
Toshiba’s Storage Device Division has introduced a 2.5-inch ultra-compact hard drive which, according to the company, is the first one offering a capacity of 750GB. The model MK7559GSXP has three platters into the 2.5-inch diagonal space and is designed for laptop computers where the size is a very important point.
The storage unit has an areal density of 839.1 Megabits/mm2 (541.8 gibabits/inch2) and a media transfer rate of 1,363Mbps.
Toshiba believes that the big capacity, speed, and reliability will transform the Toshiba MK7559GSXP into a product to be used potentially in several markets including set-top boxes (or TV codifiers/recorders) and video recorders.
This kind of hard drive will allow you to enjoy multiple files in your pc. This hard drive is very affordable and is very effective if you want to gain more memory for your pc. :)

Brand new pc? :)
This new laptop will come with the latest Intel processors, although the selected lines are not so powerful as the Intel Core i7 is.
Instead, the Toshiba Tecra M11 will come with Intel Core i3 and Intel Core i5 processors. There will be up to 4 available versions, so the end user can choose the better option.
In addition, these new computers will come with 3GB of DDR3 RAM at 1066MHz and a 320GB hard drive.
By incorporating these processors, we will be able to use an Intel GMA 3150 graphics chip or an Nvidia graphics chip (in particular the NVS 2100MS).

Addiional Exposure
While browsing on the web looking for some ways to get additional blog exposure, I had chanced upon this post about F?chr (pronounced ’Feature’), a site where you can get your blog or site featured for 24hrs on their website.
Well for a newbie like me, this is one great opportunity to be exposed and get additional traffic, so I’ll definitely try my luck and hopefully get my blog featured on their main page for 24 hrs (fingers crossed). Of course they won’t feature a low quality site, so your site must have some good content to be featured.
Is it free? Yes it’s FREE for now, so you better hurry, visit their site at http://www.fechr.com and get your site F?chr-ed

Quality of Repair Service
Maintaining your car is very important if you want your car to run properly and stay like new.Preventive maintenance is important to keep your car safe. With proper care your car will last longer and some of the possible problems and repair can be avoided. Well-maintained car is not only safer, it's also more economical and produces less pollutions. If the car is well-maintained, you can expect higher price when you decide to sell it.
Car Engine maintenance is one of the most essential car care activity that requires huge investment, an investment that pays off with enhanced fuel efficiency and longer engine life. Sometimes, all that may happen when a head gasket is blown is excessive steam erupting from the tailpipe; yet the engine may act and drive like normal, until all the coolant is gone and the engine overheats.
If the gasket fails, a variety of problems can occur, from compression loss (leading to power reduction, or a rough engine), to exhaust gases being forced into the cooling system, leading to the engine overheating and increased engine wear due to the motor oil being mixed with antifreeze. Coolant can leak into the cylinders, causing the exhaust to issue steam and the catalytic converter to be damaged. If a very large amount of coolant does this, hydrolock can occur, causing extensive engine damage. The most common cause of various engine problems is overheating. Luckily, there is repairpal who always give their quality service and repair. Even the Ford Explorer who has been a hot-selling item in the relentlessly competitive SUV market can attest the quality of their service.
Well, there are a lot of good reasons to maintain your car in a good and safe condition. But for me the most important reason to maintain my car is who rides inside it. If you don't take good care of your car, and something happens where your family is injured or killed, it will be more costly than all the new cars in the world. So not only to extend the life of your new car, maintain it for your families safety as well.

Laptop gadgets
There are so many accessories and gadgets you can use on your laptop. These accessories are usually not included in your laptop while some are built-in. You can capture pictures and video using a Web cam, which you could store and view in you laptop. You can make voice recordings with a microphone or make phone calls. There are microphones that are separate and there are those attached to headsets.
Another laptop accessory is a speaker which allows you to increase the volume of your audio output as some built-in laptop speakers have very limited volume range. A useful accessory for you laptop which almost all people buy is a mouse. Although a laptop may have a built-in tracker ball or mouse touch screen, this can be inconvenient to use. These are the commonly used gadgets for your laptop. There are more sophisticated accessories sold in the market to perform certain functions of your laptop as well as to access its features.

My Mogo Mouse
Personally, I don’t use my laptop’s touch pad. I am more comfortable using a mouse. So for me, a mouse is an essential gear. But I must admit, it’s one more thing to remember to bring along, one more thing taking up space in my laptop bag, and one more thing with batteries to die at the most unfortunate times. Hence it would be great if there’s a business-card sized, Bluetooth-enabled mouse that docks and recharges inside my laptop’s card slot when it’s not being used, right? Fortunately, now, there is. It’s the Mogo Mouse!
Designed with the traveller in mind, the Mogo Mouse BT is not your usual mouse but it offers the same functionality as conventional laser wireless mice – scroll, right click, left click, but without the bulky, oversized design. Rather than trying to squeeze an awkwardly shaped external mouse in your laptop bag, you just store the Mogo Mouse BT inside the laptop itself (in the PC card slot specifically), where it’s also charged. When you need it, just eject it from the card slot, flip out the integrated stand to comfortably position the mouse, and you’re ready for action.
And because it’s Bluetooth-enabled, you’ll have wide wireless compatibility with any computer running Windows XP/Vista or Mac OS X that has Bluetooth. The Mogo Mouse BT has also a built-in rechargeable battery that is automatically recharged each time it’s stored inside the card slot. It takes about 30 minutes to recharge the battery, and a single charge gets up to approximately 10 hours of normal use. How smart is that? If you have a PC card slot sitting around doing nothing, this looks like an ideal way to fill it.

Mobile office sphere
Michiel van der Kley who has been producing designs since 1987 has just the same opinion. That's why he decided to design Globus concept that shows his creativity and imagination. Globus represents a multi-functional mobile office that looks like a sphere. When the gadget is closed its strange design can attract the most curious of spectators, but in case it's opened people will understand its function at once. One half of the sphere becomes a comfortable seat, while the other half represents a useful adjustable table, which can be used for a laptop or something else. Globus has hidden wheels, so you can move it to an appropriate place. But if it's opened the wheels are locked. Gadget is available in a variety of colors, so you can choose the one you like the most.
It would be great if these "spheres" were placed in public places, including airports, because a lot of people would probably find them very useful and comfortable. Moreover the design of this gadget that is quite a modern one would not spoil the interior of any place.

Indestructible Laptop
If you drop your Laptop too often or drop it from you balcony onto the asphalt and need to buy a new one after that then this gadget is right for you. I am a clumsy person and I always drop stuff on the floor.
I have had like 3 laptops and broke all of them because I wasn't careful enough. Recently I have found out about this new laptop made by General Dynamics, the company that makes devices for the army. That is a very good advantage for a company that created the most durable laptop in the world, because if our military force wants something durable then this thing has to work even after falling down from a plane. This gadget is called the Ironix XR 1 Rugged Notebook and it is really cool.
This new cool laptop weights about 3 kilograms and it can stand falling, vibration, besides it is water- and dust- resistant. That means that it will work even after falling off the plane into a river then it will be brought to the bank of the river and some kid will decide that it is a toy and will play with it.
Its keyboard has a backlight that will allow you to work even in dark and it is water resistant too. This wonder laptop will work even after the gas attack. After all that a cup of coffee or tea will not make any difference. I mean that you can wash you coffee or tea off with water. See, how convenient it is to have a thing like that? Besides, the laptop has some really good things inside too.
Its processor is one of the newest Intel Core Duo 1.83 GHz which is very cool. It can have 512 to 2048 MB of DDR II SDRAM memory. It has a 5400 RPM SATA drive that you can take off. It has the built in GPS system and a 12.1 inches screen with improved brightness and contrast. Buying this unbreakable laptop you get a cool gamer machine in it. They keep in secret what it is made of but it is really durable.
All this technology is really great but you get it for a good price too. Guess how much it costs. It costs 4330 USD a piece, it is a good price for a laptop like this because it is almost everlasting one.
This gadget would be useful for rescue teams for having the GPS system built in. The coast guards might use it. Really, any service from police to army can use it. It does not say anything about having a Wi-Fi technology or not but I think it does. I am going to get one next week if I can. However, if I will not be able to get one I will wait because this gadget is worth it.

CushTops
This is one of my favorite laptop gadgets. I often use my laptop while sitting on the couch or in bed. The CushTop provides a comfortable padding for your laptop. Simply put the CushTop on your lap, and then place the laptop on top.
Besides comfort to us, the CushTop also provides a flat surface that can prevent accidental laptop overheating. Some of the CushTops come with additional pockets and storage capacities.

Touchscreen laptop
Touchscreen laptops are pretty rarely used nowadays and if you want to get one it is going to cost you pretty much money. It is not worth that much money, I mean the touchscreen. However you can enjoy having this function on your laptop. NAVIsis has produced a gadget that will make your laptop's screen a touchscreen. No need to buy any expensive laptops you can use your old favorite one.
The laptop Tablet converts your laptop's screen into a touch sensitive one in several seconds. This gadget being attached to the side of the laptop's screen will let you use stylus to write things and push buttons. The controls will be just like you are using a usual touchscreen like on a PDA or Communicator phone.
The idea of that is great because you do not have to change the laptop itself even if you really want to get a touchscreen one. And it might be more useful in some cases when you use writing and any graphics programs.
However, the laptop's screen hasn't been created to be a touchescreen and to be touched by a stylus or ever worse by your hands. So you might actually ruin your screen using this gadget. It is either you are going to need to by a special protective cover for your screen or use the gadget as little as you can.

Wireless outdoor speaker
If you're anything like me you're probably spending all your summer evenings in the garden, eating barbecue with some friends.
It's always nice to have a little background music and that's what the next gadget is built for. Transmit your songs from your iPod or any other mp3 player to this wireless garden speaker. The distance between sender and receiver can reach up to 70 metres.
It is splash proof so you can put it close to a swimming pool (though not recommended for obvious reasons).
It features a left, right or mono switch which makes it perfect if you're using two of these. If you want a cool stereo effect, you can position the players perfectly in your garden.
The battery lasts about 6 hours. This gadget works with any standard 3.5mm jack connection.

With about the size of a normal sized credit card, this small flip up lightbulb is convenient to have in your wallet.
Whenever you need a small light to search for your keys, simply grab this cut-out lightbulb and flip it up. It'll immediately light up.
What's the point of this when we have lights in our cellphones? I guess it's just a cool thing to have.

Book lover's cave
Nowadays the significance of book reading slightly decreased because there is a great amount of different sources of information. Nevertheless a lot of people all over the world still like reading books. Due to the fact that book reading is quite a simple process it seems that nothing new can be invented in this domain. However, it is not exactly so.
Japanese designer Sakura Adachi suggested combining of bookcase and reading space. His invention represents quite a comfortable place for reading that is located right inside of the bookcase. This place is designed in the form of a chair that is made of a kind of soft material in order to ensure comfort. The fact that this gadget is integrated into the bookcase and, as a consequence, does not occupy any space at all that can be considered as a significant advantage. Moreover, it looks great and probably will not spoil your interior.
Thus, it seems that both adults and children will consider reading in this "cave" as an absorbing pastime. Yet, taking into consideration that a lot of people have computers and laptops it is hard to say something about the demand for this gadget. So, it is quite probable that some of them, having the opportunity to read ebooks, will find no sense to buy this useless, according to their opinion, "cave".

New Wi-Fi Direct to Connect Gadgets Without Routers
Coming mid-2010 there will be a new Wi-Fi standard that will allow any Wi-Fi gadget to connect wirelessly with each other without having to go through a wireless router. The best thing: It will only require a software update.
The new standard is called Wi-Fi Direct and—unlike Bluetooth—the technology will enjoy exactly the same speed and range as Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi Alliance—which includes Intel, Microsoft, and Apple—says that it will automatically detect and hitch any device equipped with Wi-Fi within a 300 range, from computers to cameras to TVs to printers to anything in between. All peer-to-peer.
The Wi-Fi Alliance and everyone else—including myself—are pretty excited about this. And since it will only require a downloadable software patch, you can expect the technology to become ubiquitous pretty fast.

Rhino! rawr! :D
It’s been a while since we reviewed the Dymo LabelWriter 450 Twin Turbo, with its awesome ability to print labels without any ink. I would have to say that the Dymo Rhino 101 is probably its poor cousin.
Of course, there really isn’t anything technical with the Rhino 101, really. It doesn’t have a keyboard, or anything to type out individual letters. In fact, it really is just a glorified roll of white tape.
Because of this, my source really bad-mouthed this product, going so far to deem it unnecessary. I would agree that you could probably do the same thing with some white tape and a Sharpie, but the Rhino 101 gives you something that you need for that: a flat surface.
That’s right, if you just had white tape and a Sharpie marker, than you would have to tear the tape, stick the tape, and hope that whatever you stuck it on would be flat enough for you to write on it. The Rhino 101 provides that flat surface, so you can just write what you want in the space provided, tear off, and stick it to anything, even carpet.

Spillarium
The Spillarium is a hybrid home ornament that spills water but not your precious live fish within – making it more than a half-decent home decorative fixture that will definitely have guests over puzzle it out, thanks to the wonders of optical illusion.
Water cascades from the side of the bowl – creating the illusion of an aquarium that’s perilously losing water – into the koi goldfish base, and back into the aquarium. A filter at the spout prevents daredevil fish from plunging over the falls. An integrated pump continuously cycles water through a sponge and charcoal filtration system and helps maintain the proper water level inside the aquarium. LED lights in the base cast a warm, colorful glow throughout the bowl. The five-gallon aquarium accommodates up to five fish. Includes artificial fish and plants, a fish net, cleaning brush, and fish food. Plugs into AC.
